Who we are
Gatewaybird is a trade name of Woodst B.V., Carolieweg 22, 9354 TM Zevenhuizen (Gr.), CoC 83100172. Woodst B.V. is the data controller for the data you share with us through this site. Contact: via the contact form.
Which data we collect
When you fill in the waitlist form or the contact form we process:
• Name and email address
• For the waitlist: your role (developer, startup, SMB, enterprise, other) and — optionally — what you use today to call AI models
• For the contact form: your message
• Technical data such as IP address and browser data, needed to operate the form and prevent abuse
What we use your data for
• To inform you at the launch of the API (waitlist)
• To answer your question (contact form)
• To give participants early access to the API and ask their input on providers and rates
Legal basis: performance of the (pre-)contract and legitimate interest (answering questions and preventing form abuse).
Who we share your data with
Your data is not sold and not shared with third parties for marketing purposes. We use service providers needed to operate this site: hosting and email provider for sending notifications and (later) launch emails (Maillog, maillog.dev, with Resend as fallback), and privacy-friendly analytics without cookies or personal tracking.
We publish a current list of sub-processors as soon as the API goes live. When using the API, a data processing agreement under the GDPR applies, explicitly naming the sub-processors.
How long we keep your data
Waitlist data is kept until launch and for a maximum of 12 months after, unless you indicate you want to stay informed. Contact details are kept for a maximum of 12 months after your last question.
Your rights
You have the right to access, rectification, erasure, restriction and objection, and the right to data portability. Send your request via the contact form. We reply within 30 days. If you are not satisfied with our response, you can lodge a complaint with the Dutch Data Protection Authority (Autoriteit Persoonsgegevens).
Cookies and analytics
This site uses no tracking cookies. We measure anonymous page statistics (Umami) without cookies and without building personal profiles. No cookie banner is needed.
Changes
This statement may be updated, especially at the launch of the API. The current version is always on this page.
